Another Year
Well another year has gone and past. Thanks Matt and Timothy for the wonderful dinner and fun at Olive Garden last night. It was a nice change from the usual Red Robin.

oh my goodness
Well the day started off well with the Comer Kids' Classic. I coordinated the volunteers, with my half pint helping me. Matt helped with being a course marshal on the course. Then Timothy ran his first kids dash in the 3-5 year old. He was the 3rd to cross the finish line and received his first ribbon. He was sad he really wanted a trophy but was happy and had fund doing it. He then cheered on all of the older kids as they ran their races. Good morning all in all considering we had to get up at 5:45 am to get there.
Timothy fell asleep in the car on the way home and we all rested/napped a little. Timothy then went out to play with his friends. Late in the afternoon I hear crying and it sounded like timothy, I get to the door to see what happened and I hear screaming "I am bleeding" I see the blood running down his face over his eye. Boy did I run fast to the neighbors yard. An accidential hit to the face of a plastic gun but a good dent in his forehead and a little scratch on his eye. He is OK. Cleaned him up and he was out playing a half hour later once he finally stopped crying. He is a little wimpy like his mom. I think the blood scared him more than anything since it was running down over his eye and he has not bled so much before.
Well hopefully it will look fine for pictures this week at school. Otherwise he will have another with a battle scar. I will post pictures later when I get home.

Joliet Jammers Baseball game
Timothy and I did the reading program at the Plainfield Library. He read enough to earn three tickets for us all to go to the baseball game. This was his first game and he really enjoyed it. It was Jammer's birthday and there were many mascots there to celebrate and there was cake on the way out too!

A whole year
Boy am I bad it has been a whole year since I posted. So much for trying to document our lives. Not even sure what to say except it has been a busy year.
December - we left Christmas day to go to Florida for a visit to Matthew's family and Mickey's house. Timothy had his reservations at Disney but quickly began to have a great time and did not want to leave. We saw lots of characters and he went on many rides with dad and mom. We also got to spend some quality time with Matthew's mom, grandparents and his sister and her family.
My mom gave us a week at a timeshare right on the coast and Matt and Timothy loved the beach and waking around. Timothy got to tie die shirts with dad and swim in the saltwater pool and even feed the birds on the beach with his cousins. All in all it was a great trip.
February - we celebrated Timothy turning 4 going to a bouncy place near by. He really had a great time and has many good friends from school and the neighborhood who came to celebrate with us. He also got lots of nice gifts, some people are way to generous.
May - We went to visit Matthew's dad memorial day week in NC. Grandma got to show off her grandson at the bank she works at. Grandpa got to take him to Wal-mart for him to pick out some toys to bring home. We went to a small beach and Timothy got to play at a large playground there too. It was a nice trip. On the way home we stopped in Metropolis IL the home of Superman. We went to the superman museum and got to see lots of memorabilia from many superman shows and movies. Mom and dad liked it. Timothy liked the large superman in the town square.
June - Timothy and I took the day off and went to Milwaukee to visit one of my dear friends and her kids. We had got together last summer so the kids all knew each other. They had a great time playing together while us moms got to catch up. We went to the zoo and had fun until the torrential downpour. Luckily we were in a building, we tired to wait it out but it was not letting up so we all got soaked making it back to the front of the zoo and exit. We did have a lot of laughs and fun in the process. We have to do this more than once a year since I miss Courtney lots!
July - Well Timothy has been doing swim lessons and soccer lessons on Saturday for a month now. He really likes them. He is working on his fear of going under water. He is also learning soccer since that is what his girlfriend at school plays. YES he is way to young for that and I am trying to curb it as much as possible but 4 year old do not listen.
Well I have done an update for now. Matthew and I are doing well too. Both busy at work which is a good thing in this economy.
Love to all!
